Going to SweetHome Waimanalo was quite a ride to and from home. But, I admit that it was worth the ride and wait for dinner. Upon arrival, Kevin, out host gave us a tour of his potential farm and house. It was fascinating that Kevin and his family actually used recycled objects, wood, and other things to help make his living space for his family. Its a great investment in a sense where he is trying to promote a living space along with a restaurant in using recyclable goods. With the tour of the farm, being able to use the land for harvesting vegetables, meat, and other essential uses, promotes a great way of living without using a lot of waste. This field trip made me realize to not take usable needs that grow around your living space for granted. Other than the tour and realization about the not taking things for granted, the restaurants food was very very good. The corn bread, barbeque kailua pork, and salad tasted very o’no. This field trip to SweetHome Waimanala was enjoyable :]]
Always,
May
